Can you believe that it's only Wednesday?  This week feels like it will last FOREVER since the last couple were so short - and crazy too!

 

IF you want to unwind and de-stress,

 

OR celebrate that it will be Friday Eve,

 

OR because the weekend can't come soon enough

 

OR because you, like I, will take any excuse to go out and have a drink with pals,

 

OR more than one of the above are TRUE,

 

THEN come and have drinks and nibbles with a few of your Club-mates tomorrow at our Social Hour.

Starting at 5-ish, which means whenever you can get there after you finish your daytime stuff, we'll meet at the penthouse lounge at Casa Marina in Jax Beach.  Here's the address for your GPS:

It's between 5th and 6th Ave North.   I might try to bring our big sign, the one from the hallway at the general meeting.  Or not, because it is big and heavy, so no promises.  You will see us with our name tags on.  No RSVP required, just show up and have fun!

 

 

Remember back in the early '80s when Trivial Pursuit was the latest craze?  It was invented by Canadians, didja know?  Now we have all kinds of trivia games that have been inspired by it. We will be at Triva Night at Woody's BBQ's THIS SUNDAY from 6-8. 

 

The deadline to RSVP is TOMORROW at noon!  Yikes!  I am guessing there might be a (teeny tiny) grace period.  You don't have to pay to RSVP but you do need to send an e-mail to Nancy and Cindey at waysandmean@pontevedrawomansclub.com.  We have to give our head count to Woody.   If you sent your RSVP to membership before, that's OK, we still have it.  Dinner (your choice of 3 options) is included for $25 each or $45 per couple, and you will pay there.  It is a large, complete meal, you only buy drinks.  A good bargain!

 

A rack of ribs is enough to convince my husband to go just about anyplace.  Woody's is one of his faves, too.  Look out, his cohorts call him Wikipedia.  As least I know someone on my team will be able to answer the sports and history questions, because it sure won't be me!
